Vascular Surgery
Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgery is a subspecialty of general surgery in which diseases of the vascular system, arteries or veins, are managed via surgical intervention. Our surgeons are trained in the diagnosis and management of diseases affecting all parts of the vascular system, excluding that of the heart or brain.
Common diseases of the vascular system include abdominal aneursym, aortoiliac disease, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and diabetic vascular disease. Through testing with angiograms, ultrasounds, peripheral vascular pressure measurements and other necessary tests, the proper surgical approach can be outlined. Surgical procedures include aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, surgical bypass procedures, dialysis access, endarterectomy and vascular access.
If you have questions regarding other procedures, please contact our office.
